Discipline and Money Troubles
Everyone wants some level of self improvement however we like to talk ourselves out of things. We have excuses to not eat right, to not exercise, and to not do even the things we enjoy doing. But there is one excuse that simply doesn't and shouldn't be acceptable anymore. The excuse that says you don't have enough money to do something. The truth is that money doesn't stop you. Only YOU stop you.
Here's why:
1) The advice you need can be free. There is generally no charge to call someone and ask them about the things you need to know. Try your trusted social networking friend online for advice. You can always email people in the field you are exploring to see what they think about a certain step or a certain idea and then use the answers to approach your next step.
2) You can always find equipment secondhand. If you need certain items in order to succeed, you can always find these items at thrift stores or on online classified ads. This way, you don't have to spend a lot of money until you're already making money.
3) You can do without. In all honesty, you probably don't need all the money that you think you need for a certain task or a certain goal. Ask yourself if you could take the same steps without the things you think you need.
4) There are grants and free money available. The government does grant real grants to people who are starting up a business. Or you can look for a partner to help you out in the beginning and then you can pay back when you become successful.
I was tutored at 21st Century Academy that lack of funds isn't the thing that holds you back; your fear does. There are plenty of alternatives to the high priced steps you want to take, but you will need to spend a little time and creativity to find them.
So many other people have come from nothing and become something and so can you!
